Sorry to break it to you, but the name’s not Jenna. It’s Jeana, pronounced Gina. Growing up, and still to this day, whenever someone had to say my name, it was either Jeana or a blank stare, especially since my maiden name is not the easiest to say. The silence made it easy to say ‘that’s me’ or ‘do you mean Jeana/Gina?’. When someone calls Jenna, I always hesitate since I usually don’t know if there is actually someone named Jenna in the room.
